- José or “Pepe”, begins as a bass player in 1985. In 1990 he starts his fomal music studies in “Ars Nova School of Music”. Gonzalo Micô, Alex Rodriguez, Roberto Girón count among his teachers. In 1992 he attends UCLA Extension and graduates with honors in Recording Engineering. During this period he studies Drum rudiments and Jazz improvisation with. Back in his home country he starts his Music production career working in several Advertising Recording studios. After gaining experience he starts his own Music Production facility in the year 2000 , Sonica Studios. His carrer as a Music producer leads him to work with the most important firms in Venezuela. Among his most important works are: McDonald’s “I’m Lovin it”, Dove , Listerine, Motorola, Gillette, Bridgeston-Firestone, Faber-Castell,Always, Pepsi Co.,DirecTV, Nabisco, Tang among countless others. At present he is dedicated to composing music for the most relevant Advertising Agencies of Venezuela such as Leo Burnett, J. Walter Thompson, Ogilvy & Mather, Foote Cone & Belding, BBDO Venezuela, Young & Rubicam and many local agencies.
